Intelligent Medical Research Center lead by Prof. Jiang Liu is dedicated to advancing medical artificial intelligence. It consists of 15 members, including 4 principal investigators who hold dual positions, 1 research associate professor, 2 research assistant professors, and 1 senior research scholar. Currently, the team has applied for 3 national projects, 3 provincial and ministerial projects, and 8 collaborative projects. They have also published several high-quality papers in reputable international journals and conferences.

       The team has established two major research laboratories: SUSTech- Reyemico Joint Laboratory for Intelligent Ophthalmic Image Analysis, and the SUSTech-Taiyuan Ophthalmic Intelligent Technology R&D Laboratory. These laboratories have a combined contract value of 10 million. The team focuses on strengthening collaboration between schools and enterprises while conducting extensive research in artificial intelligence, precision medicine, eye-brain connections, and surgical assistance. Their goal is to enhance the transformation and industrial application of scientific and technological innovations.
