SUSTech-VCAR Joint Lab of Intelligent Simulation and Testing for Autonomous Driving Systems |

The joint laboratory was jointly established by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and VCARSYSTEM. It aligns with the national, provincial and municipal high-tech development strategic priorities, supports Party A's industrial upgrading goals, and adheres to Party B's purpose of industry-university-research cooperation. Through the joint efforts of both parties, it will be built into an advanced manufacturing frontier innovation platform integrating scientific research infrastructure, industrial technology development and integration, talent training, application demonstration, and results transformation. The Key Technical Areas for Collaborative Research and Applications include 1) Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing using Carla and other simulation environments; 2) Data-driven simulation scenario generation; 3) Exploration, mining, and generation of hazardous scenarios; 4) Scene data quality analysis and the development of annotation systems for evaluation frameworks; 5) Annotation systems; and 6) Other mutually agreed-upon areas of interest and research topics. |

The SUSTech-FXB International Education and Engineering Joint Laboratory for Intelligent Connected Vehicles focuses on research and education in next-generation intelligent and connected vehicle technologies. It facilitates the development of professional software and hardware teaching resources and supporting curriculum systems in areas such as intelligent perception, autonomous driving, and vehicle-road coordination. The laboratory also provides teacher training, international exchange, and other educational services. By integrating professional technologies in intelligent connected vehicles with next-generation information technologies such as 5G communication, the Internet of Things, big data, cloud computing, and virtual reality (VR/AR), it delivers comprehensive teaching and training solutions for various institutions, enterprises, and training bases. |

The joint Intelligent Ophthalmology Technology Research Laboratory, established by Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) and Hangzhou Taiyuan Medical Innovation Research Institute Co., Ltd., focuses on applying artificial intelligence to ophthalmic medical devices and algorithm development. Built upon the Research Institute of Trustworthy Autonomous Systems of SUSTech, the lab researches AI deep learning, ophthalmic image analysis, and intelligent surgical assistance, aiming to advance ophthalmic care through technology transfer. |

Reyemico (Hangzhou) Medical Technology Co., Ltd. and the Research Institute of Trustworthy Autonomous Systems of the University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) jointly established the "SUSTech- Reyemico Joint Laboratory for Intelligent Ophthalmic Image Analysis." This joint laboratory is dedicated to developing deep learning models for ophthalmic image analysis, both parties will further strengthen collaboration in related technical fields, promote technological exchanges, and facilitate the translation of research outcomes. Together, we aim to advance technological upgrades and development in the field of ophthalmology. Leveraging our respective strengths, we are committed to building the joint laboratory into an innovative platform that integrates scientific research infrastructure, industrial technology development and integration, talent cultivation, application demonstration, and the commercialization of research results. |
